This photo of Yukon Flats NWR through light mist is part of Gary's focus on climate change. Here he provides an update on his activities.

We will again be in Alaska this summer, following climate science, the plight of coastal native villages, glacier and forest changes, and the sheer beauty of the arctic. Your information, ideas and assignments are very welcome.

Climate Photo of the Week resumes on WorldViewOfGlobalWarming.org, with a review of images from our United Nations Rio Convention calendar. It is a tribute to the three crucial treaties which emerged from Rio 20 years ago -- with comments on the daunting task before the Rio+20 meeting.

Following that, reports and portfolios from our work in Nepal and India will be presented about the resilience of Himalayan foothills villages in the face of climate change, including issues of water and food. Cultural, religious and urban images are also part of our coverage.

Meanwhile, our app for IPad and IPhone with Red Hill Studios, Painting With Time: Climate Change, is "What's Hot" on the Apple App Store weather section.
