L’UICN recommande d’agir en faveur du patrimoine mondial naturel en péril

L’UICN, Union internationale pour la conservation de la nature, publie aujourd’hui d’importantes recommandations relatives à des sites naturels du patrimoine mondial nouveaux et en péril, avant la réunion du Comité du patrimoine mondial qui se tiendra à Bonn (Allemagne), du 28 juin au 8 juillet prochain. L’UICN recommande le retrait du site colombien de Los Katíos de la Liste du patrimoine mondial en péril. Elle recommande aussi l’inscription d’un nouveau site en Jamaïque et d’importantes extensions de deux sites inscrits au Vietnam et en Afrique du Sud. IUCN’s work on World Heritage gets renewed support from MAVA Foundation

The MAVA Foundation and IUCN have signed an agreement to continue their partnership on World Heritage through a new phase of work to be implemented over the next four years.
