IUCN China’s strategic plan is based on its Intersessional Strategy 2009-1012, which is situated within a larger global and regional IUCN Programme and IUCN’s Mission and Vision. There are clear synergies and opportunities for IUCN to deliver important results that will benefit China’s development and biodiversity.
Goals for IUCN’s China Programme:
- Ecosystems, habitats and species in China are conserved and rehabilitated.
- Natural resources in China are used and managed on an equitable and sustainable basis, including within and among communities and between men and women.
- A dynamic, effective and sustainable program is efficiently managed to pursue the mission of IUCN in China.
