Europe Overseas Roundtable on Biodiversity and Climate Change

As a follow-up to the Message from Reunion Island (2008), the purpose of the Roundable is to provide an EU-wide flexible and informal instrument for coordination, dialogue and exchange among all Europe overseas actors, including representatives of the EU Outemost Regions (ORs) and Overseas Countries and Territories (OCTs), EU Member States, the European Commission, Intergovernmental organizations, civil society and experts.

The Roundtable aims to facilitate and advocate for appropriate consideration of ORs and OCTs biodiversity and climate change issues in EU, regional and international policies and programmes. The Roundtable is also working to facilitate the mobilization of resources for ORs and OCTs biodiversity and climate change.
