The Roundtable is the Pacific’s only voluntary membership-based network of non-government organisations, donors and regional organisations working in nature conservation in the region.

IUCN Oceania Regional Director, Taholo Kami, is the current Chair of the Roundtable.The Chair is for a 5-year period and offers IUCN opportunity to bring together different groups involved in conservation.

Partners are those Roundtable members who have signed the NCRT Charter. Partners will work with governments through their in-country activities. Key “flagship” countries for early wins are PNG, Solomon Islands and Fiji.

 

  • At the 12th Roundtable Meeting held in Honiara, Solomon Islands,  Birdlife   International and FSPI signed the NCRT Charter, bringing the total signatories to the Roundtable to twelve.
