IUCN US is the focal point for administering and serving the US and Caribbean member organizations and also serves as a liaison resource to the IUCN Commissions which comprise over 10% of the Union's members and over 1/3 of the Commission members. IUCN US also links at numerous levels with all members throughout the Western Hemisphere covering the Caribbean and IUCN's offices in Canada, Mesoamerica and South America.
