IUCN frequently advises major development institutions on forest issues, to ensure that conservation priorities are adequately addressed in their projects and programmes. The "Issues in Forest Conservation" series is designed to promote a coherent and informed analysis of key forest conservation issues so that the policies developed and advocated can be translated into effective actions.
