On 11 and 12 July Cyriaque Sendashonga, IUCN Global Director of the Policy and Programme Group, and Pierre Commenville, IUCN IPBES Policy Officer, visited the office of the Environmental Law Centre to meet with IUCN partners and members in Germany, the host country of IPBES. In April 2012, the Intergovernmental science-policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES) was established by more than 90 governments in Panama.
