Nueva herramienta para evaluar la gestión de las áreas marinas protegidas en el Mediterráneo

Un estudio reciente llevado a cabo por la Asociación MedPAN en más de 80 áreas marinas protegidas (AMP) del Mediterráneo revela que más de la mitad de ellas aún no tienen un plan de gestión y el 75% de aquellas que son parte de la red Natura 2000 (en los países de la UE) aún no tiene un órgano de gestión. Con el fin de reforzar la efectividad de las áreas marinas protegidas del Mediterráneo y para lograr un enfoque más unificado, el Centro de Cooperación del Mediterráneo de la UICN y WWF-Italia han trabajado en estrecha colaboración con responsables de AMP para crear una herramienta inclusiva y sintetizada que contribuya a evaluar la gestión de las áreas marinas protegidas en el Mediterráneo. …   | English | French
