24 January 2013 | News story

Over the next six weeks, you can learn more about the project -documents, photo galleries, videos and radio programs,  through IUCN’s social networks:
Facebook: www.facebook.com/uicn.sur
Twitter: hashtag #climacambia, cuenta @UICN_SUR

The project, located in fragile ecosystems in the Andean-Amazonian region of Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru, helps communities use local and traditional knowledge to adapt to climate change.

Every week, the campaign will present documents, photo galleries, videos and radio programs from each of the areas where case studies were developed: Huasta and Tamshiyacu (Peru), Araracuara (Colombia), Chimborazo (Ecuador) and Chiquitos and the Intersalar area (Bolivia).

“The Climate Changes, So Can You” is a joint initiative of IUCN-South America (UICN-Sur) and the Peruvian Society for Environmental Law (SPDA), with funding from the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID).
