Have your say on the new Road Map for Capacity Development

IUCN, the World Commission on Protected Areas (WCPA) and a number of partner institutions and programmes have been leading capacity development efforts for many years. The IUCN - WCPA Protected Areas Capacity Development Programme has recently led a process of consultation and assessments of lessons learned, leading to a new vision proposed for Protected Areas Capacity Development: A world where institutions and individuals apply state of the art knowledge, skills, and best practices to effectively manage and equitably govern protected areas and territories governed by Indigenous Peoples and local communities.
