La communauté de l'UICN est profondément attristée par la perte de sa collègue et amie, Susan Mainka. Sue est décédée le dimanche 12 février, après une bataille de cinq mois contre le cancer. Sa contribution à l'UICN, au Programme des Espèces et au maintien de la rigueur scientifique est remarquable.
