The GEF Office of Evaluation in collaboration with IUCN will host an International Workshop (May 2008) to share good practice examples of evaluations and methods in evaluating mitigation of and adaptation to climate change.

All IUCN Members with experience in this area are invited to submit presentations for the Workshop. If you know of specific examples of evaluations that focus on the effects of climate change (either directly or indirectly) and that you would consider an example of good evaluation practice and innovative methods submit a short summary to IntWorkshop@theGEF.org.

This image shows the courtship behavior of Indian Bull frogs (Holobatrachus tigerinus). During the monsoon, the breeding males become bright yellow in color, while females remain dull. The prominent blue vocal sacs of male produce strong nasal mating call.
