Send a member to catch a member: Malawi members commit to recruit new members
22 November 2008 | News story
IUCN Members in Malawi committed themselves to increasing the membership in their country by inviting more organizations to join the Union. The members however called upon the Secretariat to improve its service delivery to members so that IUCN membership becomes a better proposition. Speaking during the IUCN Members’ meeting held at the Wildlife and Environment Society of Malawi (WESM), Mr. Daulosi Mauambeta, WESM Director pointed out that the Secretariat should ensure that membership benefits are both articulated in all corporate communications and also delivered to members.
IUCN has 4 members in Malawi despite the increasing conservation work in the country. For more information, please send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org
