Our work
From the earliest roots of the Environmental Law Programme (ELP), "capacity building in environmental law" has been one of the most critical elements of the Programme's mission. This key objective of the ELP is fulfilled in an ever increasing variety of ways, including through: Fellowships/ Internships, Workshops, Lectures/courses, Visiting delegations, Researchers.

Fellowship/Internship
Our fellows and interns enjoy the rewarding experience of working in an international office, based in a city that has demonstrated a strong commitment to the environment and to attracting international organizations and events.

Achievements
The IUCN Environmental Law Programme (ELP) has as its overriding rationale to assist in laying the strongest possible legal foundation for the conservation of the natural environment, thereby underpinning and supporting conservation efforts at national and international levels.
