Descripción

Para que las áreas protegidas prosperen se deberán desarrollar nuevos constituyentes para-incrementar el apoyo general a las mismas y aumentar el aprecio y conocimiento general de sus valores.

Enfoque de Taller

Analizar las formas de incrementar el apoyo, así como la movilización de nuevos participantes, para todas las categorías de AP.

Habrán sesiones especiales para los siguientes subtemas:

Desarrollar apoyo cultural a las AP;
Entablando amistades con los vecinos: AP y las comunidades locales;
El imperativo urbano;
Apoyo a las AP en tiempos de conflictos armados;
Fomentando el apoyo de "Nuevos Participantes";
Desarrollando apoyo político para las AP;
La comunicación como medio de desarrollar apoyo a las AP.

Este taller producirá recomendaciones específicas y publicará directrices sobre los temas tratados.
