Workshop participants, at Wuhan University

Protected Areas Law Capacity Building Teachers & Trainers Workshop at Wuhan University

 In cooperation with the Research Institute of Environmental Law (RIEL) at Wuhan University, the IUCN Environmental Law Centre (ELC), IUCN World Commission on Environmental Law (WCEL) and IUCN Academy of Environmental Law offered a workshop for law teachers and trainers in the Asian region as a part of the new Protected Areas Law Capacity Building Initiative. The intention of the workshop that ran from 23-27 November at Wuhan University was to present participants to protected areas law resources and a guide for use in different  teaching and training circumstances. …

Announcing the WCEL Early Career Group Future of Environmental Law Website and Webinar Series!

The WCEL Early Career Group (ECG) is delighted to announce the launch of its new blog site, Future of Environmental Law, in addition to the first webinar of the series, which will be held at 7pm (Australian Eastern Standard Time) on Saturday 15 August 2015.
