50 students attend marine & coastal ecosystems camp

Students aged 12-14 from five schools in Tamil Nadu learned about mangroves, coral reefs and seagrass beds during a two-day awareness-raising camp run by Dr. Balaji of the OMCAR Foundation with MFF India.

CEC members from Indonesia, Malaysia and Vietnam served as facilitators at a biodiversity and media relations workshop co-organized by the CBD and the ASEAN Centre for Biodiversity. Cynthia Chin, Dinh Thi Minh Thu and Ronny Mustamu applied the tools and methods of CEPA - Communication and Education for Public Awareness to the promotion of biodiversity. Read more >
