Asia Parks Congress
Held one year before the 6th IUCN World Parks Congress in Sydney, Australia, the Asia Parks Congress will serve as a valuable lead-in to the Sydney gathering by providing lessons learned and ways forward. Jointly organized by IUCN and Japan's Ministry of Environment, it will take plave in Sendai, Japan from 13-17 November 2013.
2014 IUCN World Parks Congress
Parks, People Planet: Inspiring Solutions. Such will be the theme of the 2014 IUCN World Parks Congress, a landmark global forum on protected areas held every ten years. As the world’s most influential gathering of people involved in protected area management, it sets the global agenda for the following decade.
2012 IUCN World Conservation Congress
The World Conservation Congress is IUCN's landmark event, where world leaders and conservationists gather to take joint decisions on the global conservation agenda. It is composed of two parts: the Forum, an open knowledge-sharing platform; and the Members' Assembly, where IUCN's 1,200 Members vote on the most pressing conservation issues.

World Heritage at the 2012 Members' Assembly
The Members' Assembly gathers every four years at the IUCN Congress to make joint decisions on the global conservation agenda. In 2012, two Resolutions adopted by Members were in direct relation with natural World Heritage:
