Barrages en Afrique de l’Ouest : partager les expériences pour mieux réussir dans l’avenir

Le recasement et le partage des bénéfices avec les populations locales autour des réservoirs en Afrique de l’Ouest sont deux aspects incontournables pour la réussite d’un projet de barrage à long terme. Pour mieux comprendre ces processus et apprendre du passé, la Global Water Initiative (GWI) a organisé du 13 au 15 septembre 2011 à Ouagadougou, en partenariat avec le Centre de Coordination des Ressources en Eau (CCRE) de la CEDEAO, une rencontre d’échange multi acteurs. Comme résultat majeur : 17 messages-clé ont été formulés pour guider les décideurs à mettre en œuvre des processus plus équitables et plus durables, avec les populations affectées comme partenaires. …
