CEESP Steering Committee

 

CEESP Steering Committee - Bangkok 2014

CEESP is lead by the Chair (Aroha Mead) and Deputy Chair (Richard Cellarius). The Secretariat is based in Suva, Fiji and the Executive Officer (Elizabeth Erasito) is the main point of contact for any enquiries about becoming a member of CEESP.

The Steering Committee of CEESP is appointed according to the IUCN Statutes and assists the Chair and Deputy Chair in guiding and coordinating the activities of the Commission.
 
Steering Committee members comprise the Chair, Deputy Chair, Financial Advisor, Theme Chairs, Regional Vice-Chairs and other Special Advisors and Experts approved by IUCN Council. They are supported by an Executive Officer. You can read a short bio about each individual below by clicking on their name.

CEESP Steering Committee Meeting, January 2015

 A meeting of the CEESP Steering Committee was held in Gland, Switzerland 24 & 25 January 2015.  Of particular note are a few changes in the CEESP Secretariat. The Committee welcomed the new CEESP Excecutive Officer, Ruifei Tang and acknowledged that due to heavy workload demands, Elizabeth Erasito has had to reduce her hours with CEESP and therefore remains in the team but is now the Administrative Officer who is responsible for the processing of memberships and handling of finances. …
