From knowledge cafés to conservation campus sessions, 18 events on World Heritage were on offer at the IUCN Conservation Congress. Two important motions on World Heritage were approved and a number of presentations explained the Convention, the importance of sites and sites’ and communities’ rights, among many other issues.

IUCN Resolutions
The Members' Assembly gathers every four years at the IUCN Congress to make joint decisions on the global conservation agenda. In 2012, two Resolution adopted by Members were in direct relation with natural World Heritage:
