A positive future for the European Parliament Intergroup on Climate Change, Biodiversity and Sustainable Development
Today, 1st of December 2009, as the Lisbon Treaty comes into effect there is good news for the Parliamentary Intergroup on Climate Change, Biodiversity and Sustainable Development. Three Political groups have now officially given their support to the Intergroup including the European Peoples Party (EPP), the Alliance for Liberals and Democrats for Europe (ALDE) and the European Conservatives and Reformists (ECR) - the decision will be finalised on 10th December. After a lot of lobbying over previous months and with over 130 EPs signed the full backing of the three political parties ensures the future of the Intergroup. …
