It is astonishing to realise what a giant we have lost. As a marine person, I knew far too little of Gren's extensive role in conservation. It has been deeply wonderful to learn about his many many contributions to plants and far beyond. We are so lucky that Gren had such vision and energy... and shared his expertise with so many people and organizations.
