IUCN SSC Quarterly Report December 2025
The IUCN SSC Quarterly Reports aims to share the activities of the SSC Chair's Office and highlights from the IUCN SSC Network, while offering a space to reflect and discuss conservation issues, with the IUCN SSC leaders, members, IUCN Secretariat, the broader IUCN community, and partners.
The IUCN SSC December 2025 Quarterly Report outlines the key priorities underpinning this vision and introduces the IUCN SSC leadership, the Chair's Office team, and the new IUCN SSC Steering Committee. The Steering Committee comprises the Commission Chair and Deputy Chair, Regional Vice Chairs, Conservation Committee Chairs, and Impact Task Force Chairs. It also highlights key outcomes of the IUCN Congress through the Species Journey. Species conservation featured prominently in more than 50 sessions, demonstrating the vital contribution of species to human well-being and the deep connections between people and nature.
