Such a loss! Kathy was an inspiration to many of us at IUCN - and I'm sure well beyond the Union. Tough but kind, she spoke her mind when it got to defending what she cared about - nature. Women like her truly inspire other women in the conservation world and are an example of courage and hard work. I'll also miss her now traditional end of the year animated e-card - that always put a smile on my face. Kathy you'll be sorely missed. My condolences to your family and close ones.
