I am a Co-Chair of the Marine Turtle Specialist Group and Consultant for the Oceanic Society's State of the World Sea Turtle program, as well as a Science Advisor of the Caretta Research Project, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization in Georgia, USA, and Courtesy Faculty in the Archie Carr Center for Sea Turtle Research at the University of Florida. I am a turtle-nerd, herp-nut, and dinosaur-enthusiast. I received BS and PhD degrees from the University of Florida, and MS degree from Florida State University.
