Camila Leandro is an early career post-doc working on insect conservation at French and European scales. She focuses on the question of eDNA inventories and species distribution models to better understand spatial patterns of dung beetles. In 2021 she was awarded by the French Foundation for Biodiversity Research for her pluridisciplinary research work. Indeed, she works with colleagues from different fields (conservation ecology, genetics and metagenomics, biostatistics, environmental humanities) from academia or more grounded conservation institutions such as NGOs and national parks. Moreover, she is very keen on the popularization of science among young people.
