In this issue, we are taking the opportunity to remind you that the IUCN SOS Central Asia Initiative Call for Proposals closes on 5 August. Let us jointly improve the conservation status of Goitered Gazelle and Snow Leopard and their habitats in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan!

Since the last issue, we have celebrated International Day for Biological Diversity and World Day to Combat Desertification and started the countdown to IUCN Congress 2020. Newly developed Training Module on Initiating Transboundary Conservation is available online, and you can read the exciting news about the restoration of degraded land in Azerbaijan under the Bonn Challenge, as well as the proclamation of UNESCO Biosphere Reserve Mura in Austria. ...and much more!

We thank all the contributors to A Voice for Nature #16 and wish you enjoyable reading.
