PC-1 is one of the basic documents to plan and implement any development project in at the governmental level. The objective of the workshop, therefore, has been to familiarize the districts and provincial government and their line departments with the revised and amended format of the document.

Thirty stakeholders from provincial/district government’s line departments and members of the civil society organizations of the province attended the workshop.

Mr. Zabardast khan Bangash Manager IUCN Balochistan shared his views at the inauguration of the training. He informed the participants that this training is in continuation to the PC-1 training of last year. He also shared a detail introduction of IUCN, its mission, vision and areas of work in Balochistan. He highlighted the issues of negative impacts of the climate change and global warming and the resultant threats to Balochistan. He also emphasized the need for the conservation of natural resources of the province and requested the participants to prepare PC-1s for this very purpose.
