The Pavilion Programme was designed to unite the different parts and constituents of the Union, with the overarching goal of establishing it as the central hub for IUCN activities and thereby making it the Home of the Union. Pavilion events were designed to align with global initiatives to address the critical challenges of Climate Change and Biodiversity loss and highlight the importance of Nature-based Solutions. IUCN climate-related publications, videos, and other valuable resources were showcased at the Pavilion for the duration of the COP28.
