Financing the climate-biodiversity nexus: Enhancing the GCF and GEF complementarity

The GEF–GCF long-term vision aims to spearhead a new, ambitious common approach to tackle both climate change and biodiversity loss head-on. This joint event aims to identify solutions for optimizing the partnership between the GEF and GCF to finance and implement climate action and biodiversity conservation synergistically under both the Paris Agreement and the new Biodiversity framework of the Convention for Biological Diversity.
