Getting finance where it matters: driving and sustaining adaptation action when farmers access climate funding
The inability of sufficient financing to reach local levels constrains the achievement of NDC ambitions in agriculture. A massive opportunity lies in the contribution of forest and farm producer organisations (FFPOs).

Simplified procedures for FFPOs to access funding and innovative financial instruments for adaptation, mitigation, and resilience are necessary to rapidly scale up implementation whilst delivering food security.
Speakers at this event will include American, African and European farmer leaders who will focus on showcasing fast-tracking climate action and visible contributions of farmers’ organisations through various stakeholder partnerships.
