The European Bureau for Conservation and Development, (EBCD), is an international non-profit, non-governmental organisation (NGO) based in Brussels since 1989. This environmental NGO dedicates mainly its activities to fisheries and marine issues.
Its mission is "to ensure the conservation and sustainable use of natural renewable resources including species and ecosystems both for their intrinsic and direct value to the benefit of humanity."
