The institution is mainly responsible for the research and education for the Guangzhou Haizhu National Wetland Park, inculding: 1. being responsible for the wetland related knowledge outreaching, publicity and education; 2.building and maintaining an expert consulting group of Haizhu Wetland; 3.cooperating with relevant departments and scientific research institutions to carry out research on ecological protection management of Haizhu Wetland; 4.establishing and improving the wetland environmental protection system of Haizhu Wetland, and arranging the ecological security system of Haizhu wetland .
