IUCN and TRAFFIC Analyses of the Proposals to Amend the CITES Appendices at the 20th meeting of the Conference of the Parties

The 20th Conference of the Parties to the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) will take place in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, from 24 November to 5 December 2025. In preparation for the meeting, IUCN and TRAFFIC have produced the Analyses of the Proposals, offering Parties independent, science-based evaluations of proposed amendments to the CITES Appendices, along with key implementation considerations to support informed decision-making.
