IUCN Asia congratulates David Lyman, Marquis Lifetime Achievement awardee

IUCN Asia is proud to share that our conservation partner, David Lyman, is a recipient of the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. David Lyman is a distinguished lawyer in Thailand.

With 55 years of legal professional experience, he found much success as the chair of Tilleke & Gibbins, a leading regional law firm in Southeast Asia and Thailand’s oldest law office.

Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award recognises distinguished listees based on their career longevity, philanthropic endeavors and lasting contributions to society.

Aside from his sterling career in legal practice, David significantly contributes to society. Among these achievements is his strong support to environmental protection, wildlife causes and advocacy for conservation organisations such as IUCN. 

A dedicated conservationist, he has served on many committees to advance environmental conservation such as the Thailand Business Council for Sustainable Development in 1996 and the Board of the Thai Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. David Lyman is one of IUCN’s partners in creating a better environment for business and a cleaner environment for future generations.
