Exciting news - we are recruiting an Ecosystem Management Project Officer, and have opened a call to contract Nature-based solutions field experts in Albania, North Macedonia, and Serbia.

Since the last issue, we have published new IUCN report on World Heritage potential in Central Asia and celebrated World Wetlands Day. We took part in the CMS COP13, where IUCN Save Our Species’ Central Asia initiative was recognised as a possible funding mechanism for the conservation of key threatened migratory species and their habitats. IUCN prepared the first-ever Global Standard on Nature-based solutions and published a study proving the connection between environmental degradation and gender-based violence. Read about the new €20m programme on ecosystem-based adaptation that UNEP and IUCN are jointly launching, current species conservation actions of IUCN Members in Ukraine and Albania, and much more!

We thank all the contributors to A Voice for Nature #20 and wish you to stay safe and optimistic in these challenging times.
