WCEL hosts Webinar on Recent Developments in European Environmental Law Jurisprudence

On Friday 28 August, WCEL hosted the first of a two-part Webinar Event on "Recent Developments in European Environmental Law Jurisprudence". IUCN Director General Dr. Bruno Oberle provided opening remarks.

In the seventh Webinar in the WCEL Webinar Series, leading academics and judges gave an overview of recent European environmental case law, focusing specifically on supranational courts in Europe. Of note, the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) and the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) have delivered important environmental judgments in recent times.
