Towards sustainable agriculture: supporting the dialogue between farmers and environmentalists
On Monday 12 November, IUCN and the European Commission organised a participatory round-table on sustainable agriculture, focused on the green architecture of the CAP. Representatives from farmer and environmental organisations met to discuss about opportunities and challenges, on a non-confrontational set-up.

Under the premise that both healthy food at fair prices and a healthy environment for our environment are needed for our survival, IUCN has initiated this conversation as a contribution to an enhanced European sustainable agriculture in future.
