Dr Jessica MARSH
Dr Marsh is a Reseach Fellow at the University of Adelaide. She is a taxonomist and invertebrate conservation biologist, with a focus on arachnids and her research is centered around identifying the invertebrate taxa and habitats that are likely most at risk from threat events, using a combination of molecular analyses, mapping, and traits-based analyses. Much of Dr Marsh's research is focused on short range endemic fauna and she has a particular interest in caves and cave biodiversity. She has expertise in species conservation assessments for the IUCN Red List and for Australian state and federal legislation. She is a researcher at the University of Adelaide and is an honorary research associate at the South Australian Museum and the Queensland Museum. She is a councilor on the Biodiversity Council, and a founder and Conservation Lead of the national charity Invertebrates Australia.
