After two successful phases, TransCap 3, the program's latest phase, aspires to provide comprehensive support over two years to Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) dedicated to implementing field projects in biodiversity conservation and climate change adaptation along the Mediterranean coast of Morocco and Tunisia. TransCap goes beyond financial backing, offering substantial support to CSO projects (with funding opportunities of up to €20,000 per project), focusing on training and empowering the selected CSOs.

The program also facilitates meaningful cross-sectoral exchanges between CSOs and institutional partners, fostering collaboration and amplifying the role of these organizations in addressing socio-economic and environmental challenges.
By prioritizing local financing and on-the-ground initiatives, TransCap aims to directly contribute to supporting Mediterranean communities in addressing climate change and safeguarding the region's precious natural resources. The program complements the other Mubadarat initiative by providing an opportunity for organizations not previously benefited IUCN support or those already influential in their field but needing support for their upscaling.
