This project will work with the New Zealand MFAT “Resilient Ecosystems for Climate Change Adaptation” (RECCA) project to support development of policy and legislation for NbS, through IUCN’s Pacific Centre for Environmental Governance; and to better coordinate NbS in the Pacific. The project will follow key RECCA design principles.
Long-term Outcomes:

Human well-being and biodiversity benefits are achieved in the Pacific through application of Nature-based Solutions to societal challenges.
Medium-term Outcomes:

1. Laws and policies that will protect ecosystems and promote NbS
2. Improved coordination and collaboration of NbS work in the Pacific
