What is the Ecosystem Restoration Hub?
The UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration (2021-2030) is a rallying call for the protection and revival of ecosystems all around the world, for the benefit of people and nature. It aims to halt the degradation of ecosystems and restore them to achieve global goals. Only with healthy ecosystems can we enhance people’s livelihoods, counteract climate change, and stop the collapse of biodiversity.
The UN Decade Ecosystem Restoration Hub is a digital platform that enables restoration implementers to showcase their contributions to the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration. The Hub enables restoration practitioners and stakeholders to connect with one another, find initiatives to support or volunteer with, register ecosystem restoration projects, and share knowledge and best practices.
IUCN is a Global Partner of the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration and a Referring Partner through the Ecosystem Restoration Hub. IUCN invites the entire Union—Members, Secretariat, Commissions, and partners alike—to showcase their work on this platform by submitting their restoration initiatives to the Ecosystem Restoration Hub and listing IUCN as the Referring Partner.
