Asia Highlights 2023

IUCN (International Union for Conservation of Nature) Asia is proud to present its Asia Highlights 2023, a comprehensive overview of its endeavours in the preceding year towards a just world that values and conserves nature. In this annual compilation of the IUCN Regional Secretariat’s major strides together with our Union constituents and key stakeholders, we look back at 2023 as part of IUCN’s efforts to ensure that human progress, economic development and nature conservation take place together. We invite stakeholders, partners, and global citizens to be inspired by our milestones, which shed light on our successes, challenges, and the unwavering commitment to ensure coexistence of humanity and nature in this region of natural and cultural wonders.
