Thailand’s Ngao Model Forest
Ngao Model Forest, located in the Lampang Province of Thailand, is restoring forest landscapes and adapting to the risks of climate change through community led forest management. Covering more than 175,159 hectares and encompassing 58,000+ people, Ngao Model Forest is working proof that local governance is paramount to making global change.
