Biodiversity in natural mineral waters

In an effort to align with the EU Code of Conduct for sustainable business and marketing practices, Natural Mineral Waters Europe (NMWE) is collaborating with the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) to develop a biodiversity strategy and indicator framework. This document provides a recommended approach for NMWE and members to establish their own strategy and indicators for biodiversity. The intention is to provide guidance to all NMWE members, including national associations, large multilateral corporations, and smaller individual mineral and spring water producers. It also aims to serve as a foundational element in advancing water stewardship initiatives.
