IUCN Position Paper for resumed CBD SBSTTA24-SBI3-OEWG3
Prepared for the resumed sessions of the 3rd meeting of Open-ended Working Group (OEWG3.2), the Subsidiary Body on Scientific, Technical and Technological Advice (SBSTTA) and the Subsidiary Body on Implementation, this position paper presents IUCN’s comments and recommendations on elements of Draft 1 of the Post-2020 Global Biodiversity Framework (GBF). It reflects guidance received from IUCN’s membership at the IUCN World Conservation Congress held in Marseille, France.
