Wereldwijd worden er 23.250 soorten met uitsterven bedreigd, zo blijkt uit de nieuwe Rode Lijst van bedreigde soorten die IUCN (International Union for Conservation of Nature) vandaag presenteert. Dit zijn er 466 meer dan bij de laatste taxatie afgelopen zomer.
