Kathy MacKinnon's passing is a great shock. A tremendous
loss not only for her family, but for the conservation community. Over the past years we all knew we could rely on Kathy's immense biodiversity knowledge, her deep commitment to the protection of nature, and leadership for forging new ways of thinking and doing. Kathy would always work to break down silos and strengthen cross discipline partnerships. She set foundation for our work in the 21st century. Forever grateful - thanks Kathy!
